Since my wife is an artist, (oil painting), she was very interest in all of the views of the Pacific Shoreline. The only way down to some of these coves can be steep: I'm 80 and next time I'll bring a "Walking Stick or Staff" to help me with my balance over the rocks. The Beaches are Free, (No Admission), Only expenses are food & lodging in the area. We visited the Fort Bragg Museums to see the History of Ft Bragg. My wife enjoyed collecting Glass from the shallow waters in the coves between the two entrances. We stayed at the Sea Bird Motel located across CA-1 from the Southern Entrance. We visited and walked the trails on Glass Beach by the Northern Entrance to The Southern Entrance by Cypress St. We Will Be Back !! Too much to enjoy in 3-4 days. FYI, Tangents in Mendocino (also an awesome place) has the same owner. I have also exchanged items (tags on, in excellent condition, with receipt,) my husband has picked for me with no trouble at all. I have purchased many items from here, the prices were fair and the people working there are helpful and knowledgable. If you wanted to see everything you could spend at least an hour. There are also beads.Īll of the items are gorgeous. They also have a small selection of beautiful clothing (some vintage), a large collection of beautiful jewelry and handbags. but if you have the time, maybe after or before visiting the botanical gardens, it is so worth the stop!Īnanse Village has beautifully curated, fair-trade goods from around the world! They have home goods indoor and outdoor decor, dinnerware, table linen, cooking utensils, baskets, accent furniture, rugs, and books. It's a little south of town on HWY 1, not next to other stores. ![]() ![]() I'm a local, so I'm a little ashamed to say the first time I came in was only a few years ago, now I try and go fairly regularly. ![]()
